Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienists are licensed and specialize in providing preventive dental care, to include cleanings and maintenance, oral cancer screenings, periodontal disease screenings and treatment, periodontal therapy, oral hygiene instruction and education, nutritional counseling, smoking cessation counseling, are radiation safety certified, and are Board certified and State licensed. 

As a patient in our office you will regularly see one of our hygienists.

Dana Howell, Registered Dental Hygienist

Dana Howell, R.D.H.
Dana was born and raised in Bardstown, Ky, graduating from Nelson County High School and attending college and graduating from the University of Louisville with a degree in dental hygiene in 1999.

Dana has been employed by Dr Cornette for eight years. Dana in her free time enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her boys. She also enjoys scrapbooking, which she has been doing for seven years.

Ronelle Koch, Registered Dental Hygienist

Ronelle Koch, R.D.H.

Kentucky native Ronelle Koch graduated from University of Louisville Dental School in 2002; dental hygienist who is state licensed, and board certified and is certified to administer Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Analgesia; Preventive Oral Health award winner.

Special Olympics volunteer; active church and choir member and volunteer, active Elizabethtown, Radcliff and Vine Grove Chamber of Commerce member; Ronelle has worked with Dr. Cornette for 4 years.

Ronelle and husband Rob have been happily married for 7 years; the couple and their two daughters reside in Elizabethtown KY.

E.D.D.A.'s are professionally trained to assist the dentist in duties during a variety of dental treatments.

Jessica Killion, Dental Assistant

Jessica Killion, Assistant
Jessica was born and raised in Elizabethtown, Ky. She is certified in radiation safety, coronal polishing and as a surgical technician. As a part of the Mission of Mercy project, Jessica was able to provide hurricane relief to victims of Katrina. She has given lectures at UK on the importance of volunteering. She is also an active member of the American Red Cross and she continues to expand her dental education with continuing care courses.

Venus Cornette, R.D.H. and Insurance Coordinator
Venus is married to Dr. Philip Cornette III.
Venus is a lifelong resident of the Kentucky, deeply rooted in the Commonwealth. Venus was born and raised in Owensboro, KY located in Western Kentucky. Venus Cornette is a registered dental hygienist, graduating from the University of Louisville's School of Dentistry in 1998, Louisville Kentucky. She is a volunteer for the Hardin County Kentucky American Red Cross Disaster Relief Team, which serves the cities of Elizabethtown, Radcliff and Fort. Knox Kentucky. Venus is also an active member of the Radcliff Chamber of Commerce. Venus is also an active member of the Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club and the Radcliff Chamber of Commerce. Dr. and Mrs. Cornette have 3 children.
